JBF VALET CONSIGNOR REGISTRATION
Welcome to our JBF Oakland County Community! We're so glad you're joining us for our Spring Sale at Oakland Expo Center in Waterford.
You've landed on our page for sellers who'd like to clear their clutter but don't have the time to complete sale prep - our Valet Consignor Program. If you've come here by mistake, click here to enter our main consignor registration page.
We know you want to get rid of your kids' outgrown items, but you don't have time for sale prep. We can help with that! Here's how our valet consignor (seller) program works:
- You gather your items and ensure that they meet JBF quality and safety standards. Our standards are here. Items should be free from stains, tears, holes, and damage. Items must be clean. Items should generally be current within the last 5-10 years. There are some items we do not accept related to safety. We charge a No Thank You Fee of 0.25/item and $1.00 per large item for items you send for tagging that do not meet our quality standards.
- We will call you to arrange a pick-up time to collect your items at a mutually convenient location, as soon as possible. This allows our taggers to prepare your items in time for the sale.
- Our valet tagger preps and prices your items according to our JBF standards. See our pricing guidelines here to get an idea of how your valet tagger will price your items.
- All your items will be marked to reduce during the 1/2 off sale and to be donated at the end of the sale. This ensures you'll make the most money from your sold items and that clutter will be permanently out of your home!
- Your tagger will deliver your items to the sale.
- During the sale, you'll get to shop early just like other sellers! You'll receive 2 tickets to shop as early as 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 19th. You'll be able to enter the 1/2 Price Presale at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 22nd for free as well.
- After the sale, you'll receive a check for your sold items by April 6th.
The take-aways:
-You'll receive 45% of the value of your sold items
-We'll pay your valet tagger 25% of the value of your sold items
-Your valet tagger will price your items for you
-Your unsold items will be donated to our charity partner and you'll receive a donation receipt
-Consignor fee: $35 (this covers your seller fee and the cost of supplies like coat hangers for your valet tagger)
-$20 additional supply fee if selling over 300 items
-We must receive your items no later than 2 weeks prior to the sale.
-You will receive a free Presale pass for participating as a Valet Seller. Your Presale pass will be good for entry to the sale from 6:00 pm on 03/19/25 onward throughout the end of the sale.
